Together, we're all active in the community, hosting the Memorial Day Parade, Appreciation Dinners for our city and county law enforcement, fire department and EMS units.

We prepare a full course Christmas Dinner every year, at no charge, at the Club, delivering meals to those who are housebound and taking over for “Meals on Wheels” that day.

We support the Scouts of America and Boys State.

We provide funding and assistance for veterans through the V. A. Hospital and Livingston County Veterans Council and work closely with the Livingston County Veterans Administration to assist veterans in our community.

In addition to our service work, we are also a Community Organization.

Friday nights are open to the public for our famous Fish Fry, followed by Karaoke.  The last Saturday of each month, a Smorgasbord is held for members and the public.  During the winter months, the Sons of the American Legion host a Family Pizza Night on the second Wednesday of each month.  During the summer months, enjoy the Veteran’s Patio.  The Club is open from 10:30 AM until 11:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM until 2:00 AM Fridays, 10:30 AM until Midnight on Saturday and Noon until 8:00 PM on Sundays.  The Club is closed on Easter and Christmas.   Burgers, sandwiches and snacks are available during all open hours except Fish Fry and special events.

We welcome new members and new ideas.

The Post meets the third Monday of every month at 7:30 PM at the Club.
